# Order pickers for your warehouse: agree tasks and profiles

Picking roles depend on picking methods, scanner knowledge and order types. East Power Sp. z o.o. focuses discussions on your warehouse processes. Record tasks, headcount per shift and assignment duration.

## From order to completed pick

Describe order receipt, storage location, item selection, quantity confirmation and handover to packing or dispatch. Individual items, cartons and mixed orders can require different workflows. Specify whether the picker only retrieves goods or also allocates containers and confirms completion.

## System skills and accuracy

Name the WMS, scanner or handheld and functions actually used. Voice picking also requires spoken instructions and replies. Specify checks for item, quantity, batch or condition. Batch and expiry controls apply only where required by the goods process. System corrections are not automatically part of picking.

## Induction using a sample order

Walk through an order from start to handover, including a shortage or damaged item. Supervise picking, confirmation and reporting. Assess the result against site quality criteria before extending duties. Speed targets do not replace understanding.

## Separate picking, correction and release

Define whether shortages are only reported or data changes are permitted. Substitutions, stock corrections and release of uncertain goods need assigned responsibilities. Include packing or equipment operation only when specified. Resolve uncertainty through the site reporting process.
