# Production assistants for manufacturing: define your requirements

Production assistants are requested for specific support tasks. Material supply, packing and assembly assistance require different induction. Record work steps, quality rules and headcount per shift.

## Describe a workstation rather than a general title

Define the production step: supply materials, feed or remove parts, support simple assembly or pack finished products. Specify materials, tools and expected output. Describe each workstation when rotation is required. The industry page covers the overall process.

## Understand instructions and inspection criteria

Specify identification and inspection criteria, including counting, sorting or comparison with a sample. Communication needs follow from instructions and defect reporting. State any required equipment experience separately.

## Supervise the first task
